I went back to the routine from my Utah days and skipped the usual Thanksgiving festivities. Instead I went to the pass and enjoyed the new snow that has been falling steadily since sunday.  Visibility was lacking (no photos), but new snow and storm skiing are two things I’m always thankful for.  The last couple feet have laid the alders down and opened up a lot more space in the trees.  I have to work tomorrow, so no skiing, unless I can sneak out and get some afternoon turns above town, but with the days shortening I don’t know if I’ll have much time.  Until next time enjoy this picture of high noon on the North Slope Mike just sent me.
